Extensive work in the field has gained him accreditation as a new homes specialist and condo/loft specialist. Emmett is a college graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management.

Emmett is a highly active member of the Kansas City Home Builder's Association and National Sales and Marketing Council. He is a Certified New Home's Salesperson (C.S.P) and his career path is leading him to become one of this regions few Member's of the Institute Of Residential Marketing or M.I.R.M.

Emmett is the proud husband of Ivy Leigh Shaw and proud father of Azia (age 8) ((prounounced "uh-zye-uh")), Aidan (age 4) and Aubrey (18 Months) and expecting in August '08. Much of his free time revolves around family activities like movie-going, trips to the park and most importantly fishing.
